That’s a pretty big leap. The word “love” has no place in the business world. It really doesn’t. Capitalism and commerce are diametrically opposed to the values and emotions that the word “love” stands for. Interpersonal relationships at work that go beyond friendship are documented by any good HR dept. And once we’ve all chewed up, gargled and spit out the word “love” as the latest buzzy catchphrase, what then are we left with to use, when, in our most important moments, a word so fundamental, so powerful, has been cheapened and diluted by the external profit seeking world?
