Healthcare is a right

A young woman in Kano, Aisha, who was in labor for three days waiting for surgery, Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, Temie’s own difficult labor (and easy access to healthcare) were the three major events that pushed Temie Giwa Tubonsun to find her purpose. In her thought-provoking talk, Temie tells us what that purpose is. In her own words: “Every single African deserves access to the best, most efficient, most effective healthcare that we can deliver and that’s my life’s work.”
