What is TED?

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences under the slogan Ideas Worth Spreading.

At TED events, some of the most engaging speakers around the world address a wide range of topics. They are given a maximum of 18 minutes to present their ideas in the most innovative and engaging ways they can.

What is TEDx?

TEDx are local TED-like event, designed to help communities, organizations and individuals spark conversation and connection.

At TEDx events, a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos sparks deep conversation and connections at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.

What is TEDxGangtok?

TEDx Gangtok is an independently organized event operated under the license of TED. TEDxGangtok event is a one-day conference with the theme of Sculpting the Eutopian Dream where people from different walks of life present unique ideas that are worth sharing and shape a better future.
