Will Luis Suarez leave Liverpool for Real Madrid?

It’s that time of year again, Luis Suarez COULD be joining Real Madrid this transfer window. Luis Suarez has been linked with the Spanish giants in each transfer window in the last twelve months.

Luis Suarez has had a phenomenal season with the Reds, becoming the Premier League’s top scorer last season with 31 goals, and produced 12 assists last season, with only his captain, Gerrard, getting more with 13.

Rumors are reporting that Real Madrid are set to bid around €70m for the Uruguayan, which I think is absolutely absurd. If they can sign Gareth Bale for €85m then Luis Suarez should be worth at least €120m. Suarez is way better than Bale, you don’t even need statistics to prove that.

But the question is, will Suarez actually leave Liverpool this summer? By the looks of it, I’d say he’s got a %0.01 of joining Real Madrid this summer. Last summer he wanted to leave because we didn’t have Champions League football, now that we have it, he shouldn’t even be complaining. You may argue and say that Suarez might want to go, because Real Madrid won the Champions League, also high wages, better lifestyle, and most people there speak Spanish, his native language. The thing is, if Suarez were to join Real Madrid he’d just be looked at as another employee, but at Liverpool he’d be more than just a player on the wages.

“I signed the contract because I love it here and I’m so happy here. If you’re not happy here you don’t sign any contract”

In an interview a month ago Luis Suarez openly admitted that he loves life at Liverpool and looks forward to Champions League success.

I genuinely think that he’ll stay at Liverpool, this never-ending transfer speculation linking him with Real Madrid has gotten us Liverpool fans laughing at the deluded journalists who write those articles.
