Can you build the Ideaverse in Capacities?

This is based on

’s Ideaverse but instead of using Obsidian as it’s centre, this is using Capacities — similar concepts, similar program but slightly different execution. This app falls somewhere between Notion and Obsidian — there’s bits that I would love to blend from both and I feel like this is where Capacities* really shines.

If you’ve been following along you’ll know I’ve been using Capacities to read House of Leaves. You can check out how that’s going in my posts linked below! But, I’ve also been exploring using it for the Ideaverse & as something more day-to-day. And with all of the love I have

to blame (read: thank) for this.

Reading House of Leaves & Reading More House of Leaves

The way I’ll organise this is talking about the core Ideaverse ideas, about how I’ve implemented this in my vault in Obsidian and how this translates to Capacities. I’ll show you different parts of this workspace, objects & some of my notes. I’ll break down what the ACE structure looks like for this & some workarounds I’ve learned for various things I’ve missed from the other apps.

Core Ideaverse Ideas

Yes, I did title this because I thought Ideaverse Ideas sounded funny. No I will not be changing it.
