THORChain Communication Initiatives
As a continuously progressing protocol, THORChain has to tackle a lot of things in its day-to-day life. The issues aren’t just related to THORChain but also every other chain it currently supports.
To keep the community up to date on discussions and the progress, a bunch of communication initiatives has come to existence (both from Nine Realms and the community).
Below is a quick summary of those communication initiatives:
⭐Latest Updates
If you want to be thoroughly updated on each update and announcement but don’t have the time to skim through twitter and dev discord, then RuneBase will act as a great resource for you.
RuneBase currently covers each important update in its website. Users can also opt for an email subscription for the same. Kadesh from RuneBase has been leading the RuneBase blog front.✨

⭐Weekly Updates
Nine Realms has recently announced that they will be giving weekly updates on various topics to keep the community informed on the protocol’s progress.
⚔️ Mondays:
Each Monday, Nine Realms will give an overview on what is being done, what is next in line and what the team is aiming for.
⚔️ Wednesdays:
Each Wednesday, Nine Realms will share an update on integrations (Chain, Dex & Wallets).
⚔️Fridays:
Every Friday, THORChain Devs will hop on a Twitter Space to give a quick overview on what’s being done, and to also address some questions from the community.
⭐Bi-Weekly Community & Ecosystem Recaps
If someone wants to get updates only once in a while, then he should follow THORNOOB as it covers important Events, Community & Ecosystem recaps on a bi-weekly basis.
THORNOOB also pushes a TLDR of the previous 2 weeks if someone doesn’t want to read each and every detail.

⭐Monthly Updates

THORNOOB also covers Monthly Network Stats to track the protocol progress on a regular basis.

⚔️Monthly Q&A with Blog Recaps:
This is a new initiative from THORNOOB and the first Monthly Twitter Q&A is expected to be held in the next couple of days. A recap of the Q&A will also be pushed in a medium blog for reader’s ease.
Note: THORNOOB team will try to answer as many questions as possible but will also encourage and tag other THORChads in order to provide accurate and up-to-date answers to the community.
⭐Other Initiatives
⚔️Architecture Design Record (ADR):
Nine Realms has come up with another initiative where the Node Operators and engaged community members will be able to discuss various proposals in a better and more organized manner.
A new category (ADR) has been created in the THORChain dev discord where the upcoming proposals and improvements will be discussed.
⚔️THORChain Twitter Communication:
Any community member can draft a tweet and share it in the #twitter channel in discord for other community members and the twitter interns to act upon.
With all of the above initiatives, it can be said that THORChain communications is one-of-a-kind in the crypto industry. Community members are also encouraged to spread the word about THORChain in their own ways. 💯
Please be advised, there would be many milestones which could take several weeks to months in order to come to fruition. Time estimates can be given but it should never be taken as deadlines. Moreover, ideas are also discussed with the community at times but it should not be considered as ‘another milestone’ until the details are fleshed out.
