⚡General Questions About:

Q. Why price of Native $RUNE is different than of BEP2/ERC20 RUNE?

A. This is due to inefficient arb opportunity, since there is only one-way bridge from bep2/Erc20 to native RUNE, and not vice versa. There is NO direct bridge from native RUNE back to bep2/Erc20 RUNE.

Q. Can we stake Native $RUNE?

A. No. Native RUNE can only be pooled in liquidity pools. No staking program is live. Synths will be out in time, providing staking opportunities.

Midgard quarterly update 01/10–17/12

— BlockStore
— generated by Midgard, read by Midgard.
— A static copy of the blocks from ThorNode.
— Can be copied from a remote location on first startup (with hash checks)
— Speeds up greatly the resync.
— Will allow Midgard working after a fork, and it will even keep historical data.
— Analizing the gains and losses.
— LUV metric for value / pool unit. It should always go up. ThorNode slightly changed to keep this invariant. Alerts added.
— PriceShift metric for Impermanent Losses. Gains = LUF*PriceShift. Good candidate for dashboards to display gains.
— Identified issues around ILP, raised and followed up on them with relevant teams.
— Investigated ThorNode / Midgard depth & unit divergences. Raised underlying issues, corrected divergences.
— Rewrite of v2/actions for serving speedup. (precalculated table with the result json format in generated in sql)
— Fixed v2/actions logic issues around status.
— React to Midgard outage with quick fix and a proper speed up later. (indexing fell behind thornode)
— Statechecks performance improvements.

Slack bot: Working on a front end for NodeOp tools settings (see screenshot below). This will be a convenient and universal way to set up node status notifications for all messengers (Telegram, Discord, Slack). I plan to finish this task after the New Year holidays.
