What’s Happening with THORChain?
Current Situation
With the release of V0.68.0, THORChain has resumed Binance chain, and the BEP2 pools can now be interacted by users for Deposits, Withdrawals and Swap activities.
V0.68.0 also consists of the code to enable UTXO chains (BTC, BCH & LTC). Once the bifrost syncs up to the current block height of the relevant chains, these pools will be opened for “Arbitrage” by the community.
Syncing of chains can take 2–5 days (estimated time). After that, UTXO pools will be opened for Deposits, Withdrawals and Swap actions.
Note: UTXO pools will be arbed by the community this time. Not by the whitelisted arb addresses like during BEP2 restart. Get your arb bots and funds ready. :)
Up Next
- Once UTXO chain is resumed, next will be the turn of ETH & ERC20 tokens (likely around 2 weeks).
- Next up in line would be Synths, Light Nodes, and Interest-bearing vaults for the Synths. Good news is that synths are already added to the network, just need to test it thoroughly before opening it in the wild.
- If any user has any stuck switch transaction, it will be refunded to your address when V0.69.0 is adopted by the network.
