Ignite Fire Pitch 2019
The Ignite Healthcare Network brings together executive women in healthcare toward generating solutions for the future of healthcare. For the last three years, the Ignite Fire Pitch competition has showcased female-led early stage companies focused on healthcare markets.
This year focused on participant engagement with customer-parters across the last several months. The finalist companies shared their stories and lessons learned to an audience of these customers, investors, and other community supporters on October 17th, 2019.
The 1st place winner was TMCx08 alum, Ria Health. Their platform helps anyone who is seeking to reduce their alcohol consumption and they have seen excellent sustained outcomes. Second place went to Sound Scouts and third to Savonix. Other awards included a $100k Houston Angel Network prize to Materna, a $100k Texas Halo award to TMCx09 company PATH EX, and a $50,000 Texas Halo Fund award to Pyrames.
