Recapping TMC at the Angel Capital Association Summit Last Week!
Juliana Garaizar, Director of the TMC Venture Fund, is also a board member of the Angel Capital Association in charge of Business development and International partnerships. (She also received an ACA award for Biz Dev Tiger!) Juliana organized the full World of Angel track with 5 panels in the Summit this year and participated as a speaker on the “Starting Deals More Cheaply Internationally and Bringing Them to North America” panel. Juliana also invited TMC Venture Fund portfolio companies to showcase their innovations during the Angel Capital Association Summit while in Chicago:

Each company had a 2 minute pitch in from of an audience of approximately 600 U.S. and international investors including angel groups, early stage funds and family offices.
Highlights and Outcomes
There where 3 prizes: Best Pitch, Most Investment Potential and the Venture Bucks Prize.
- Corinnova was Top 3 for Investment Potential and Winner of the Venture Bucks Award. They are following up on leads and believe they can unlock additional $2M funding from their participation in the event.
