After release, TOKYO BEAST TRIALS will host THE $1M GAMING CHAMPIONSHIP, a special tournament with a prize pool of up to $1 million.
In ‘THE $1M GAMING CHAMPIONSHIP’, additional prizes will be given based on the number of pre-registrations, in addition to the original prize money. If the number of pre-registrations reaches 1 million, an additional prize equivalent to a total of $100,000 and a betting (HIT5) payout equivalent to a total of $1 million will be added. (*1)

As a preliminary event, we will hold a test play tournament limited to 200 participants called ‘PRE CHAMPIONSHIP’ (hereafter referred to as the tournament) during the pre-registration period. The winner of this tournament is planned to receive a prize of $10,000.
Additionally, in conjunction with the main tournament, we plan to hold a championship prediction campaign on the official X (formerly Twitter), where one lucky participant will win $10,000 by drawing.

Tournament Regulations

These regulations stipulate the participation conditions and requirements for individuals (hereinafter referred to as “Players”) applying to and competing in the TOKYO BEAST TRIALS PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP (hereinafter referred to as “the Tournament”) as organized and operated by TOKYO BEAST FZCO (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). To facilitate the smooth operation of the Tournament, the Company has established an Operations Team, which may include external contractors.

Introduction

The Company and the Operations Team will conduct the Tournament in accordance with these regulations but reserve the right to make final decisions on any necessary adjustments if circumstances arise that are not explicitly covered by these regulations or if enforcing them would compromise fairness. All dates and times specified in these regulations are in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

1. Tournament Overview

The Tournament is an online competition organized by the Company that uses the PC version of TOKYO BEAST TRIALS (PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP exclusive version).
The Tournament will take place over six days, starting with a five-day qualifier open to both general applicants and invited players and followed by the finals featuring the top 20 Players from the qualifying round.
There will be a one-week preparation period between the qualifiers and the finals.

2. Participation & Eligibility

2.1 Participation Method

To participate in the Tournament, Players must meet all of the eligibility requirements stipulated below.
Applications must be submitted via the entry form linked at the bottom of these regulations.

2.2 Eligibility Requirements

Each Player must satisfy the following conditions to participate:

l Must be a resident of one of the following countries or territories where the TOKYO BEAST TRIALS service is supported.

l Must be considered an adult under the laws of their respective country.

l Must have a personal bank account capable of receiving international transfers from the UAE.

l Must have access to the game on the designated platform.

l Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Japanese, or Simplified Chinese.

l Must have a PC and network environment capable of playing the game without issues.

l Must be available to participate in the Tournament at the scheduled dates and times.

l Must agree to the TOKYO BEAST FZCO Privacy Policy: https://www.tokyobeast.ae/privacy-policy/en and the TOKYO BEAST FZCO Cookie Policy: https://www.tokyobeast.ae/cookie-policy/en (hereinafter referred to as “the Privacy & Cookie Policies”).

l Must be registered as a qualified participant and accept the regulations.

l Must possess an active Discord account that allows immediate communication with the Operations Team from the time of application until the Tournament concludes.

l Must agree to these Tournament Regulations (submission of an application constitutes automatic agreement).

2.3 Amendments to the Tournament Regulations

The Tournament Regulations may be revised at any time without prior notice when deemed necessary.
These revisions may include clarifying existing rules, correcting errors, addressing issues that arise after the regulations are published, and other similar changes.
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Tournament — either in whole or in part — if any circumstances compromise the integrity or proper operation of the event, including cheating, technical issues, or other factors.
Such decisions will be made at the sole discretion of the Company.
The Company reserves the right to disqualify any player or team at any time for any reason.
Any attempt to intentionally disrupt or interfere with the Tournament may violate criminal and civil laws. The Company reserves the right to seek damages, including legal fees, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Tournament Regulations (including any question of validity, breach, or termination) shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). These Tournament Regulations shall be deemed to be part of the arbitration agreement. The arbitration shall take place in Singapore, and the arbitration tribunal shall consist of a single arbitrator. The language of arbitration shall be English.

2.4 Employees & Conflicts of Interest

Employees of the Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, advertising agencies, and promotional partners, as well as their immediate family members or household residents, are ineligible to participate in the Tournament. However, invited players affiliated with an agency may participate for promotional purposes.

2.5 Registration Data

As part of the registration process, players must provide information such as their X and Discord IDs.
Other relevant information collected as part of the Tournament may be used to create ranking data and for promotional campaigns on social media.

2.6 Acquisition of Information

During the period of this tournament, for the purposes of analyzing and improving this game, information related to hardware, software, and error logs, as well as player data, may be uploaded from the player’s hardware to our servers without obtaining individual consent from the player.

3. Enforcement

Accounts and match data created for the Tournament may be reviewed to verify any instances of malicious behavior or cheating.
All players must comply with the Tournament Regulations, Privacy & Cookie Policies, and Code of Conduct.
Failure to do so, for any reason, may result in immediate disqualification from the Tournament at the sole discretion of the Company or its authorized representatives.

● Cheating, hacking, or using third-party “helper”
applications to manipulate the game.

● Colluding with other players to influence matches.

● Exploiting known vulnerabilities within the game.
(Players are responsible for identifying and avoiding any in-game vulnerabilities that are currently considered illegal.)

● Engaging in harassment, offensive language, or disruptive behavior online, including negative or obscene expressions.

The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke the eligibility of any player or team for acts of misconduct affecting the operation of the Tournament, violations of these regulations, lack of sportsmanship, or any other disruptive behavior.

Any attempts to disrupt the Tournament may violate criminal and civil laws. The Company reserves the right to seek damages, including legal fees, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Prize Money

5.1 Prize Money Details

The winner of the Tournament will receive a prize of $10,000. (*2)

5.2 Prize Money Conditions

● The prize money is non-transferable.

● The Company may require the winner to provide their bank account details for prize distribution.

● If the prize winner fails to provide the requested bank details, they will be deemed to have forfeited the prize.

● Receiving the prize is conditional upon full compliance with the Tournament Regulations.

● If the prize winner is disqualified or forfeits the prize for any reason, the Company reserves the right to administer the prize money at its sole discretion.

● Depending on the winner’s region or banking status, it may not be possible to receive the prize. Please be aware of this in advance.

● The Company will cover international transfer fees, but due to exchange rate fluctuations, the received amount may be less than $10,000. (*2)

6. General Provisions

Nothing in the Tournament Regulations shall be construed as excluding or limiting any statutory consumer rights of the players.

6.1 Personal Information

Players’ personal information collected during the Tournament application process will be used for the purpose of organizing and managing the Tournament.
All personal information collected about players will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Policy separately established by TOKYO BEAST FZCO. (https://www.tokyobeast.ae/privacy-policy/en)

6.2 Governing Law

The Tournament Regulations shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

6.3 Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each Player agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its authorized representatives from any and all liabilities, damages, losses, claims, or causes of action arising out of or related to their participation in the Tournament or any related activities, as well as the possession, use, or misuse of any awarded prize.

7. Commercial Rights

Players agree that their likeness, username, gameplay footage, and other related materials collected for the purposes outlined in the previous section may be edited, published, broadcast, or otherwise used (including for commercial purposes) by the Operations Team or third parties. Such use is unlimited in time and may include prizes, websites, and other informational media platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be held liable for the following:

● Inaccurate information arising from participants, typographical errors, or any equipment or programs related to the Tournament.

● Technical failures, including but not limited to network malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections.

● Unauthorized interference in the Tournament entry process.

● Technical or human errors affecting the Tournament’s operation or registration procedures.

● Delays, disruptions, delivery failures, errors, damage, or theft related to communications via postal mail or email.

● Disqualification for any reason, including a participant’s misunderstanding of the Tournament Regulations, requirements, or entry process.

9. Penalties

Violations of the Tournament Regulations may result in sanctions,
disqualification, match result alterations, or prize forfeiture at the sole discretion of the Operations Team.
All Company decisions and rules are final and binding.
The Operations Team reserves the right to disqualify any Player at any stage of the Tournament for any reason at any time.
Penalties may include, but are not limited to:

● Official warning

● Disqualification from all matches and loss of Tournament eligibility

● Ban from future Tournament participation
The Company also reserves the right to publicly disclose any penalties imposed on Players.
Players who receive penalties under these regulations waive their right to pursue any legal action against the Company, its representatives, or any affiliated entities.

Code of Conduct

All Players are expected to uphold dignity, social norms, and generally accepted moral standards at all times. Players must not engage in actions, situations, or statements that bring discredit, insult, scandal, ridicule, or contempt on themselves, the Company, the Tournament, fellow competitors, or sponsors.
This Code of Conduct applies to both live and online interactions, including but not limited to social media activity and livestreaming behavior and content.
All Players are required to adhere to these standards of sportsmanship.

TOKYO BEAST PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP Event Overview

[Game Rules]

The TOKYO BEAST PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP is an online tournament for the PC version of TOKYO BEAST TRIALS (PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP Exclusive Version) organized by TOKYO BEAST FZCO.

ARENA Qualifiers: 0:00 a.m. March 30, 2025–9:59 p.m. April 3, 2025

Finalists Announcement: 0:00 a.m. April 4, 2025

Finals Deck Formation Deadline: 0:00 a.m. April 4, 2025–11:59 p.m. April 4, 2025

Finals: 7:00 p.m. April 12, 2025

· Specific event start times may vary slightly from the schedule above.
· Any schedule changes will be announced on the official website, the game’s official X account, and the Discord server designated by the Operations Team.

Application & Selection Process

· Please submit your application via the Google Form linked at the bottom of this page.
· Applications must be submitted by 4:59 p.m. on March 23, 2025.
· Submitted applications can be revised by submitting a new application before the deadline.
· Participant Limit
Up to 150 general applicants and up to 50 invited players will be selected.
· Please join the official TOKYO BEAST Discord server so we can contact you after your application is complete.
· If the number of applicants exceeds the participant limit, selection will be determined at random.

Selection Notification

· Selected contestants will be notified via Discord DM.
· Instructions for downloading the game, gameplay, and preparation will be provided in a separate Discord channel for selected contestants.

ARENA Qualifiers

Up to 200 players, including both general applicants and invited players, will compete in qualifiers using the ARENA feature.

· ARENA
Players will engage in 1v1 BATTLEs using the ARENA feature, earning or losing ARENA points based on match results. The players with the top 20 highest ARENA point totals will advance to the finals.

Finalists Announcement

The finalists will be announced on the game’s official website, official X account, and the Discord server designated by the event organizers.

Finals Deck Formation Deadline

· Finalists must submit formation information about the deck they intend to use in the finals by the specified deadline.

· If a finalist fails to submit a deck, the deck used during the qualifier period will be used in the finals.

Finals Tournament

· The top 20 players from the ARENA qualifiers will compete in a 1v1 tournament format.
· Matches are played in full-auto mode, using the previously submitted deck formation information.

· The tournament will be livestreamed on Twitch and YouTube, and the broadcast results will determine the final standings.
· Players do not need to play the game in real time during the finals. Just sit back and enjoy the stream.

General Rules

● Players may not use scripts or programs that alter the game.

● Players may not use any third-party applications or software that could affect the game or provide an unfair advantage.

Collusion & Match Fixing

· Engaging in any action that deliberately disadvantages yourself or other players, including intentionally losing BATTLEs, playing suboptimally, or making agreements to manipulate match outcomes, is prohibited.
· Players found guilty of such behavior will be disqualified from the tournament and may forfeit any earned prize money.

Examples of Prohibited Actions:

● Playing on behalf of another player, including the use of secondary accounts, at any time during the tournament.

● Agreeing to split prize money between two or more players.

● Teaming up with two or more players to repeatedly target a specific player.

Streaming Rules

Players who wish to stream their game must abide by these rules:

● A minimum stream delay of 300 seconds (5 minutes) must be applied. This delay must be applied to all video and audio during all matches.

● The stream title must include “TOKYO BEAST TRIALS”.

● The stream description must include a link to the tournament’s official stream.

o The official stream URL will be shared on the official X account and the Discord server designated by the Operations Team.

o If the platform does not allow stream descriptions, this requirement may be skipped.

Prize Money

The prize money for the tournament is as follows:

● Champion: $10,000 (*2)

o The final standings will be determined by the results of the official finals broadcast.

o The winner will be contacted via Discord DM to receive their prize. Please ensure that your settings allow DMs from other server members.
