Where did you work before TransCrypt?
Before TransCrypt I worked as a project manager in Megafon and as a manager of several fintech products:
- online payment services for Aeroexpress, Moscow and St. Petersburg public transport,
- ecosystem of online services for customers of the Pochta Bank,
- ecosystem of acceptance and payment of bets, which is used by most bookmakers in Russia.
What role do you perform in TransCrypt?
I’m a product manager. I think out user stories and their implementation in the functions of the application, I plan and detail the tasks for the development team, I act as an “interpreter” between the development team and management.
What do you value most in the project?
The ability to create from scratch a service that will be useful to thousands of users. The ability of each team member to influence the content of the product that we are making.
What problems can our project solve?
Users of cryptocurrency can be conditionally divided into two groups:
1) geeks, cryptoenthusiasts,
2) ordinary people who decided to use cryptocurrency out of interest or necessity.
Our application is designed to help ordinary people first of all. Their main problem is the complexity of performing simple operations with cryptocurrencies. We try to make the transfer, exchange, storage of money as simple as in ordinary banking applications.
What do you most enjoy working on the project?
The moment when the title of the task in the task-tracker turns into a really working function of the application.
