Where’s my Body Without Organs?

Tom X Hart

Body Without Organs is pure zoon, a creature. It is the indeterminate and amorphous potential of pure energy. This is presented as liberation, since it is the means of becoming any “thing” that the energy potential may wish. It is the reduction of the human being to pure energy; it is not even human, since a human is a balance between logos – reason – and zoon. The person has become a creature, and the creature is of indeterminate nature; it is mythological like the Phoenix or the Sphinx – or The Thing (1982).
