Introducing Tabshare — order, pay, and save money at local restaurants and bars.

Sick of stressing about the check with your friends? Tired of being ignored by the wait staff when you want something? Forgot your card at the bar again?

Tabshare is a new iPhone app that makes it easy to order your food and drinks at local restaurants and bars, by yourself and when you get together with your friends.

The best part? Payment is completely automatic — tip included — so you can get up and leave at your convenience. Keep your cash and credit card safely in your wallet, split things like appetizers and pitchers with a few taps, and never worry about asking for a check or who pays for what ever again. It’s as easy as taking an Uber or Lyft.

You can also send gifts to friends and save money on food and drinks by paying ahead at certain locations — for example, pay $100 to get $115 credit to spend over time.

If you’re in Boston, you can now use Tabshare in the Boston University area at Kayuga, a Korean and Japanese specialty restaurant with full bar open until 2AM every day, and BonChon Allston, with their signature Korean fried chicken — many more local establishments to be added every month.

When you sign up, you get $4 credit instantly, and when you refer a friend you both get $5 — that’s lunch or dinner paid for if you try it with two others.

Download it from the App Store or check out the website at tabshare-app.com.
