Microsoft’s tower of power may be too hot to handle as an early tester remarked it gets hot, too hot. Could that burn up the series x’s chance to make a big splash before the console wars really heat up
in november.

Early test concern journalist ken bulgar from JV Video one of the fortunate early testers of the series x whom right after praising the machine’s ultra-quiet cooling system expressed concern for how uncool the
system physically got.

His quote translated from his native french is as follows “the Series X is hot like really hot it doesn’t make any noise but darn it’s hot the console is emitting heat like crazy.

It’s like a fireplace shaft, you can heat up your flat with it if you press pause while you’re playing a game and head out to get a beer just hope it doesn’t get as hot as a wood-burning fireplace”

Everyone who games on pc knows it’s commonplace for computers to get hot when gaming the fear is that it may get so hot it fries the hardware. Xbox 360 owners remember the dark days of the red ring of death all too well that glowing amber light that indicated a hardware failure in the console which cost Microsoft 1.15 billion in repairs.

A company with shallower pockets would have had to bury the xbox as a product line making it a distant memory like the 3do and Sega Saturn.

We’re sure that gamers of that era still remember those hard times when they had to send their 360 away for repairs and had to go and play outside. So the question remains what would be the bottom line impact for the alleged
hotboxes quietest console yet fear.

Fear is the godfather of all motivation and it governs many of the reasons we buy products consoles are no different you may buy one console over another because of a fear of missing out, a fear of being alone, or a fear of the other console breaking.

If we have both consoles we can jam on them for long stretches of time and really see firsthand how high those console temps rise.

If the series x gets that hot playing last Gen Games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Destiny 2 gamers will be concerned about how hot it’ll get after 8 hours of cyber-punking nobody wants to spend 500 on a hot plate.

Microsoft may have rushed the product and if this problem is not nipped in the butt before it hits the shelves the brand may be dead in the water in a way it will never recover from.

This would put the ball squarely in Sony’s court we’ll see how the final product comes out in November.
