This week, we are more than happy to introduce you with Nixalina Watson, multi-award winning London blogger, sexpert and founder of Sex & London City.

Read our Q&A below.

What has been your career highlight so far?

Has to be winning a Cosmo Blog Award two years in a row. But being sent on an all expenses paid trip to Paris by eBay Fashion UK was also pretty awesome. It’s hard to pin-point certain things as the whole journey has been incredible.

Why and when did you start Sex and London City?

I was 23 when I started and I honestly had no expectation that it would go anywhere. I only started it up because of my love for writing. I was previously a writer for a magazine in London and missed writing features, so made a blog one weekend. I started off just with fashion and beauty features but started integrating sex and love features about my dates and saw how these got a huge response, so I then changed my focus towards Sex & Love. A year later, I’ve got an agency behind it and hosting a press event for its official launch.

What is your vision of it?

My vision changes year upon year as the brand grows, but I’ve always wanted to make S&LC my full time job and be able to dedicate my time solely to the blog. I’ve also got a novel in the wings that I am looking to publish too.

What does networking mean to you?

Networking is something I consider so much fun! I love meeting new people, making new friends and expanding my circle. Networking is a must in this industry — you don’t really get far unless you put yourself out there.

What are your best tips for women entrepreneurs?

Believe in your own vision and go for it even when others may not agree with your dream. Do it anyway.

What do you do for fun?

I play netball and do yoga every week, but when I finally get spare time I’m either with my friends going out or staying in and painting. I love to chill at home with a blank canvas and not look at a laptop. Time out is really important to me and I need it. Lest we not forget I’m single so, I do go on dates too!

If you could meet someone of your interest (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

This is so hard because I have many! For all obvious reasons, I’d have to pick Johnny Depp. But a close second is William Shakespeare.

What is your best one liner?

Set your wild heart free.

Do you have any upcoming news that you would like to share with us?

LOADS! Mainly that, S&LC is being re-branded and will look incredible in 2016. Everything is under an image overhaul, including myself, so stay tuned for an exciting future!
