This is all true of spectrum-monopolist carrier 5G marketer-speak; but none of this is true of new >5th generation open wireless technologies like WiFi, WiGig, LiFi, Mesh, and SDR.
802.11ac MIMO routers are already using multiple antennae in sub-6GHz bands to form multiple beams to individual client devices, which uses their FCC-limited shared spectrum much more efficiently in mesh configurations. 802.11ad devices can already use bands above 24GHz to create similar beam meshes in our homes and offices.
If the FCC gave back all spectrum commons resources to the people, instead of giving it or auctioning it away to the cartel incumbents, we would already have gigabit wireless technologies available for every home. These wireless mesh routers could then be connected via direct neighbor-to-neighbor wired mesh links, and then coordinated like Mega-MIMO systems for better than cell-data aggregate capacity and reach. The FCC and US government is instead continuing to steal our common air spectral resources on behalf of their lobbyists and campaign funders. Giving us better access to fiber should never excuse them for this theft.
