Code2040 Retreat 2015

Silicon Valley. SF.

Connections. Genius. Purpose.

In early May 2015, Code2040 + Google hosted a retreat for the inaugural Entrepreneur in Residence cohorts in Silicon Valley. This post is much of the trip from my vantage point.

Before we begin — this years marks my 3rd trip to SXSW Interactive, but by far the most rewarding! The EIR announcement happened during SXSW Interactive in March — For a bit more context on Code204o EIR check out this piece in USA Today.

I figured it would be best to tell the story of our Retreat in Silicon Valley through photos [worth more than a million words….].

This cosmic interaction still has me baffled. At our morning breakfast we were befriended by the nicest lady who graciously offered to be our Angel Investor ($20k a piece). She said she invests in early stage companies in Menlo Park…If any of you know this lady — please have her call me back!

Tristan Walker graciously opened his doors, dropping some wisdom for the Code2040 EIR’s.

Every trip to SF has consisted of a Golden Gate run — didn't make it this time — next trip out I will have to do it twice. Keeping myself honest.
