Apple just told the world it has no idea who the Mac is for
Owen Williams

This is an excellent breakdown of what the loss of Steve Jobs is meaning to Apple. There doesn’t appear to be any driving the vision train; it’s like watching Microsoft trying to be Apple by introducing Windows and thereby demonstrating that it didn’t get Apple at all. I completely agree that Apple doesn’t know/understand/get their core demographic, and are going to lose those kids diddling around on their iPads once mom and dad aren’t paying for them anymore and they have to repay their student loans. It’s a dismal outlook.
