Water Parks, Kebabs, and Stupid People

My friend says some people can be pretty dumb.

My last day in Shanghai, I decided to go to a water park. It’s about the same size as Wild Waves, and It has its own unique water slides (though the wave pool’s waves weren't big enough.) Oh and the thing about swimsuits in China is, that they only sell speedo like (a little longer) swim suits, so when I was there in my longer swim shorts, I felt so weird because everyone else was wearing the latter.

For dinner, we went to like a self cooking kebab restaurant. Each stick had like a gear in it and you put the gear into some slits that move and it roasts the meat over a fire, on a table. I stopped eating early because I felt like I had already eaten too much in China. In the morning, I would be headed for Chengdu.

Getting through the Shanghai Airport was no big deal, but the plane got delayed twenty minutes. Well, it wasn’t too big of a problem. On the plane, there was quite alot of shaking. My number one fear is airplane crashes so any kind of shaking on the plane, I get really nervous.

On the plane, the person I was sitting next to was one of the stupidest people I’ve ever seen. So this airplane had TV’s in front of us. Before the TV Service started, this girl would press like all the remote buttons for five minutes and she still didn’t get why the service wasn’t starting, and she woud just get like frusturated and everything, so I had to tell her 7 minutes later that it hasn’t started yet. She also didn’t know where the earphone jack was nor did she know how to put the remote back in it’s slot. I’m starting to believe what Eric had said about some people being pretty dumb.

When I landed I got my bag and everything and I was looking for my godmother who was supposed to pick me up, but they were no where. So I called them and they’re like, “AH? You’re already here? The screen said arrive at duhh 2:45!” (I got to the airport at like 1:50….)

Oh, I really want to talk about my dinner. So we went to this peasant style Sechuan restaurant and I was reunited with my Godmother’s nephew Mu Tong. So anyway, I decided to order my favorite dish, 蒜泥白肉,and what came was a HUGE dish with HUGE, FRIKING, GIANT pieces of meat. these things were bigger than my hand! I had to like eat one every 3 minutes because they were so big, and then my Godmother decides to order another batch…. T.T I’m going to gain like ten pounds or more on this trip…
