The Flower and the Salmon- a poem

Photo by Drew Farwell on Unsplash

A flower growing against the wind
a salmon impressing in spite of
the current of no end

The outer beings afflict
never ending disallowing flow
creating inner seeing conflict

inner self regard mutilated
outer and inner oppression to blame
leaving self deflated

despite abundant burdens
flowers and salmon must become
a way must be determined.
