Women, Wine, and Wellness Part I

Every year, we at In8Love Chiropractic host Women, Wine, and Wellness, a night of festivities dedicated to our favorite female clientele. Besides serving delicious nibbles and the aforementioned wine, we bring together experts on a variety of subjects that we believe will thoroughly enrich your lives. By empowering each other with the knowledge to take our health and well being into our own hands, we eliminate anything that stands in the way of being our very best selves.

Today we’d like to introduce a few of the fabulous presenters who will be sharing their expertise with us at this year’s event to take place on October 18th.

Unlocking the Body of Power Acceptance with Marla Mervis Hartman

Did you know that 4 in 5 women are dissatisfied with their appearance? Are you one of them? After years of struggling with her own body dysmorphia, Marla transformed her experiences into services designed to help women honor and appreciate themselves. The result was LoveYourBodyLoveYourself.com.

It is Marla’s belief that there is a way to get from ‘trying’ to love yourself to really, truly having a positive body image. She gently guides her clients away from the cyclical patterns of yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, over-exercising, and body obsession, and empowers them to live the life they’ve always wanted.

Marla is a graduate of Kent State University and was the leading body image expert at Journey, Malibu, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. She has also been a featured presenter at TEDx Salinas. Don’t miss out on Marla’s incredible message to all of us that “the journey never ends…and love is always the answer.”

Tiffany Gallo, Midwife

Tiffany is a professional midwife, licensed in California. She has been supporting women during the birthing process since 2007. Her passion for this career began in 1995 when she was pregnant with her first daughter. She decided to have an unmediated birth, and took natural birthing classes to prepare.

Tiffany will share with you all the reasons why you should consider a natural childbirth, and will offer tips for making it a truly memorable and beautiful experience. Tiffany has attended several hundred births as a midwife and has so much to share about how each has been unique, powerful, and moving. Don’t miss hearing her remarkable stories!

Stacy Hope, Kangen Water Consultant

We all know how important drinking water is. Water carries nutrients to cells, helps with digestion, flushes out toxins, and can even aid in weight loss or maintenance. Our bodies are up to 75% water, and staying well hydrated is critical to our survival. But not just any water will suffice.

Kangen Water is electrolyzed hydrogen water. It is alkaline, antioxidant drinking water that is rich in minerals and purged of impurities. Unlike most of the water consumed today that is toxic and acidic, Kangen water creates an alkaline environment in the body where cancer cells cannot grow.

Stacy Hope will share with you the benefits she has experienced first hand of drinking Kangen water, and why she and her family can’t live without it. Best of all, she’ll reveal all the other amazing things the Kangen system can do — from cleaning your produce to getting stains out of your laundry!

Bonus Stuff

We will also be featuring amazing wellness products from Healthy Living Essential Oils, Art Delectables Luxury Organic Cheesecake Co., Light & Grace Jewels, and VitaLife Organics — Dr. Tanya’s own line of vitamin- and mineral-infused beauty products.

Cocktail service begins at 7pm, and doors will open at 7:30. Call the office today at 310–477–3335 to confirm your spot for this exciting event!
