We launched Targeted Victory’s public affairs group in 2017 to support our clients’ growing need for public relations, issues management, and executive positioning. In under two years, it’s proven to be a tremendous value to clients and an outstanding compliment to Targeted Victory’s award winning digital and creative services. In fact, our public affairs group is now a team of over 30 people and makes up nearly half of our overall firm’s revenue.
Today, I am pleased to introduce to you the newest member of the Targeted Victory team: Sean Groman. Sean will be joining our public affairs team as an Executive Vice President, after working for almost 15 years in national broadcast journalism. Most recently, Sean was at FOX News Channel where he served as an executive producer on its highly successful morning show, FOX and Friends. While there, he helped successfully grow their digital, video and television storytelling platforms. Sean will be based in our New York offices.
I believe Sean’s skills are uniquely qualified for today’s rapidly changing media environment. His background is not only a terrific addition to our growing firm and best-in-class team, but also fits more broadly into our public affairs team’s four key tenants:
- Understanding the importance of authentic storytelling and content at the local and national level
- Continuing to make digital and data the foundation of everything we do from measurement to messaging
- Utilizing our deep media relations experience to reach into every newsroom in the country — no matter how big or small
- Creating tailored messages and content that appeals to our clients’ growing and diverse audiences
Our client list continues to grow and diversify to include hyper-local activations for some of today’s biggest brands, communications support for emerging start-ups and digital advocacy for some of the most challenging fights in Washington. This month alone we helped a Fortune 10 company launch a new feature in all 50 states on the same day, generating 300 pieces of local news coverage across print and broadcast.
Like every success we have here at Targeted Victory, it begins with our people and team approach and the remarkable growth of our public affairs group is no different. In a very short period of time, we have expanded our public affairs talent to include former presidential administration officials, presidential and congressional political operatives and global public relations and marketing professionals.
Please take a moment to welcome Sean to the team today.
