Sometimes It Seems Like Desolation, but is It?

Sometimes it seems like desolation
As if you’re left with nothing, no one
But it turns to be a false sensation

Life beginning and ending with that sullen sun,
Wanting to continue but… afraid
Forgetting about how you have barely begun

Look not at how you have been portrayed
Pay no mind nor thought to their contempt!
For they know not of what you truly conveyed

Dismiss those misunderstandings that tempt,
Otherwise, it will spread throughout day and night
Fire is fire, do not think you are exempt.

It may seem you are far from your light,
But you will find your hope… along with plight
