Some of the people I know are turned off not just by personal development, but non-fictional writing all together. They say that they don’t need to clutter their thought process with someone else. While I feel that it’s okay to say that something’s not for you once you’ve tried it but to be opinionated before seeing it for yourself isn’t right.
I read Dale Carnegie’s “How to stop worrying” when I was in high school, and I wasn’t even worried, but it taught me a few things that I still use at work and in my personal life.
With that said I love your writing, it inspires me to accomplish my goals. Thanks for sharing :)
