Sundaze

Ahhhh Sunday, the lord’s day, the last day of the week, the final frontier before you start all over again on Monday! What happened to you this week? What changed? What got better? What got worse? Sunday is that day most people inherently or consciously take stock of your life and re-energize.

I’ve always been curious as to what people do with their Sunday’s. People have their traditions and rituals. “Sunday funday” they say.

But I don’t think people have fun on Sunday. You don’t stock up fun levels for a Sunday. Sunday you relax, you live like a bum, you’re lazy and probably just disgusting to look at or be around.

Sundays are my laundry days. This is the dedicated day to put a cycle in, separate the “delicates”, and prevent pieces from shrinking in the dyer. HONEY I DIDN’T SHRINK THE KIDS AHAHAHA. It’s an artform for me and sort of meditative. That low humming and tumbling of the maytag puts you in a trance. If I didn’t live in suburbia and lived in the city maybe I’d be forced to go to a laundry mat. Meet some people, have some terrible hot chocolate from the 50 year old vending machine.

This article is pretty useless, I guess all I wanted to say is I like doing laundry. My own…not others to be specific.
