“I’ve got a really good feeling about this.” — Young Han Solo, Solo: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars is one of the most recognizable media franchises in the world. It has had a key role in defining aspects of popular culture, creating a cult following and a passionate fan base. Did we mention that we’re big fans ourselves?! That’s why we couldn’t be more excited about the new movie coming out this week, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
There has been a lot of excitement and anticipation for Solo: A Star Wars Story, the newest movie about Han Solo, one of the most beloved characters from the Star Wars franchise. It is a stand-alone installment and is the second of the Star Wars anthology films. The story is set prior to the events of A New Hope and chronicles the adventures of a young Han Solo and his not so young sidekick, Chewbacca (did you know he’s 190 years old?!)
As The Star Wars website says, “Board the Millennium Falcon and journey a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes. Solo: A Star Wars Story releases in U.S. Theaters on May 25, 2018.”
