I grew up believing that our hand hygiene depends on our soap brand and how expansive it is.

Water clean it all!

I grew up believing that religion is only about following rules.

What about being grateful to God?! Loving God?! Being sinful and humble enough to repent from our sins?!

I grew up believing that being sociable means being so cool.

Introverted people are quite cool!

I grew up believing that loving our friends means keeping in touch with them every day.

Sometimes I don’t, but I feel so happy whenever I remember our stories.

I grew up believing that smiling means you’re happy.

Not really!

I grew up believing that our weaknesses are not to be shared.

We are human beings. We are a combination of positive and negative superpowers. Let’s focus on our strengths!

I grew up believing that being in love makes you weak.

Being in love is being vulnerable and vulnerability is not a sign of weakness. Embrace your vulnerabilities.

I grew up believing that men should make the first move.

Time to unlearn this one.
