Tecno recently launched the Camon C9 which is the successor to the popular Camon C8 but how do the two phones compare, was there any significant upgrade?
 Remember that in my last post, i talked about the camon C9 vs the camon C7


Here is a quick overview of the differences.

 1. Design
 We willl start with the physical appearance since here is where you will find the first noticeable difference,
 the design was totally revamped the front facing camera was centrally placed and the device got a metallic trimming
 The C9 also got a curved/rounded back design.


 2. Camera

 Both have a 13 MP back/Rear camera which is supported by a dual flash the only difference that comes in is that camon C9 comes with a 13 MP front/selfie camera which is an upgrade from the 5MP found on the Camon C8,

 The two phones have a front soft flash for taking selfies at night.


 3. Processor & Ram

 The C9 is two times faster than the C8 since it has an Octa core processor (8 cores) unlike the C8 which is powered by a quad core (4 cores)
 This simply means the Camon C9 is pretty fluid and lags are non-existent,
 In addition the operating memory was doubled from the 1GB found on the C8 to 2GB this makes multi-tasking on the C9 much easier and seamless.

4. Storage
 Both phones have a 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB through a memory card


 5. Display

 Both the phones have a 5.5 inch IPS Touchscreen the only difference is the screen resolution, the C8 has a 720 x 1280 which is HD(720p) while the resolution on the Camon C9 was upgraded to Full HD 1080 X 1920 (1080p).
 This makes watching of videos more enjoyable as more pixels are displayed


 6. Network

 The C9 supports LTE/4G network, this is an upgrade from the 3G in the C8, with 4G you get high upload and download speeds.

 7. Battery

 Nothing was upgraded here, both have a 3,000 mAh battery which is non-removable
 This battery can last a whole day on normal usage.

 8. Operating system

 The C9 comes out of the box with HIOS based on Android 6.0 while the C8 has Android 5 lollipop though there is a Marshmallow + HIOS update for the Camon C8.
