It’s near and … it’s, in fact, a week away that Samsung will introduce their iconic phablet, Galaxy Note 8. On August 23rd (next Wednesday), Sammy will stand on the stage in New York to unveil their super phone — Galaxy Note 8. It’s going to be a defining moment for Samsung since the Note 7 fiasco which wiped out nearly $5 billion dollars from its market value last year. It’s a mission and an obsession for Samsung and all the Note brand fans. Today, gfxbench test confirmed many of the expected features from this highly anticipated phablet. You can see the test below,

It sports 6GB RAM and 64GB storage as its base model. According to other sources, there are going to be other premium models that will have 128GB and 256GB storage options for consumers to choose. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be available in the United States. Most likely Samsung will have those models in its home turf (South Korea) and a few Asia markets such as China and Hong-Kong.

Looks like the Samsung Galaxy #Note8 will also be available with 256GB storage. At least in Korea. pic.twitter.com/lymXLtbbLm

Will Samsung give us any surprises next Wednesday? Since most of the specs and features have been leaked as of today, the only surprise that Samsung might give us is on the pricing side. Everyone is expecting the price of Galaxy Note 8 is going to be on the north side of $1,000 USD… so if Samsung can keep the price under $800 USD, this is going to be a sweet surprise for consumers.
