Amazing sales: 20,000 Nokia N1 Tablet sold in first 4 minutes

Nearly 20,000 Nokia N1 Tablets were sold in China in just 4 minutes. The most surprising news is when nearly 5, 66,438 people tried their luck, only 20,000 units were sold in the first 4 minutes. Buyers in China can try their luck again on 15thJanuary as another sale is planned.
As of now, Nokia N1 Tablet is available only in China market. The company has targeted their sales globally. Yet the company has not disclosed about their plans.
The price is also another plus for its popularity. Nokia N1 comes in the price range of 1599 RMB which is approximately $250. It has got better features when compared with other tablets of the same range.
Nokia N1 Tablet features
Nokia N1 tablet is designed by Nokia but it is manufactured by Foxconn, which also handles sales and support.
Nokia N1, is 8 inch, one piece aluminum body tablet featured with IPS (In- Plane Switching) display which is also a Gorilla Glass 3 protection (scratch resistance). It is also 2.3 GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Processor. The storage is about 2GB RAM with an internal storage of 32GB. The camera is up to 8MP and 5MP in the back and front respectively.
The battery life longs up to 8.8 hours with a non- removable battery. It also has 9.2 hours FULL HD video playback with a predictive Nokia Z launcher interface on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Though Microsoft has acquired the devices and services division, Nokia proved their innovation in Hardware attaining a better position in the market.
Nokia has worked very hard to project this product in the market place. The performance of Nokia N1 is much appreciating compared to its rival Apple iPad Mini 3. According to the unified graphics benchmark (GFX) Nokia N1 Tablet scored 589 Frames where Apple iPad Mini 3 scored 553 Frames. Also according to T- Rex offscreen test, Nokia N1 scored 1,691 frames and Apple iPad mini scored 1,598.
The legal deal with Microsoft impedes Nokia from making smartphone till 2016.
