Apple To Launch iPhone 5se In March
Apple would be introducing its iPhone 5se to offer its cheaper smartphone in the highly competitive market
Apple Inc. is probably developing a new iPhone that’s cheaper and smaller than the two of its currently available models, which will be launched in March. According to reports, the iPhone 5se would be featuring a four inch screen which is equal to the size of 5s and 5 models and new features such as Live Photos, Apple Pay and upgraded camera.
It is expected that Apple might introduce a smaller iPhone, after it has increased the sizes of the screen to 5.5 inch and 4.7 of iPhone 6 plus and 6 in 2014. Millions of iPhone users are still using the older phone models, though the California based enterprise is still selling the 5s, launched in 2013.
A refreshed entry level model of the product would play its role to introduce customers to more updated features of the iPhone and possibly add to sales of iPhone at a time when it is believed that the sluggish phase of the growth is flagging. Most of the analysts expect that the company would be reporting its first decrease in sales of iPhone on Tuesday, with older models’ owners apparently choosing not to upgrade.
The company has been under pressure to sell cheaper smartphone in the past, and it responded with the launch of iPhone 5c with a plastic case and didn’t feature Touch ID.
Nevertheless, the product wasn’t seen as a big success, and the company has never launched a C model previously. There have been rumors that the design of the newly introduced handset might be equivalent to the 4’inch iPhone 5 model. Daily Mail has reported that the new smartphone would be offered with upgraded software, hardware features and internals that would be blending the older design with modernized technologies from the upgrades made to the previous two iPhones.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, the iPhone 5se would be featuring the same barometer sensor, 1.2 megapixel front camera, NFC and curved glass edges witnessed on the iPhone 6 plus released in September 2014 and also the rose gold chassis and Live Photos option launched with the iPhone 6s in the later part of 2015. However, the graded 3D Touch feature of the iPhone 6s would not probably be making the cut.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, the new launched smartphone can be released in March, along with an Apple Watch’s new edition. Apple’s Blog One More Thing has posted a picture of what it has claimed is a prototype of Apple smartphone.
