The crypto community is now closer ever to the answer of who Satoshi Nakamoto is.

So at the beginning of 2019 there was an assumption that the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto may belong to Nick Szabo. This idea is based on the fact that although bitcoin has become the most famous cryptocurrency in the world, but it was not the first. Ten years before its appearance, a well-known mathematician and expert in the field of information security Nick Szabo created Bitgold, which, however, was only a further detailed project.
At the moment, it is unknown who was the owner of the bright idea to conduct a philological study of the text of the concept of Bitgold and Bitcoin’s Whitepaper that appeared 10 years later. But the result was amazing. All the experts agreed that the style of Nick Szabo was much similar to the style of Satoshi Nakamoto. This are not all the similarities. The place of the first bitcoin transaction is similar to the permanent residence of Nick Szabo — Langley, Virginia.
Nick himself has not yet commented on these assumptions, didn’t confirmed, but didn’t refused either. At least at the last public event with his participation (January 8 at the blockchain summit in Israel) Nick carefully avoided the theme of the personality of Satoshi Nakamoto. However, his speech, in which the main emphasis was placed on the rapid replacement of the dollar, Euro and gold in the reserves of the world’s major Central Banks for bitcoin, shows Nick’s interest in a bright and cloudless future of this cryptocurrency.
