The co-founder of a philanthropic foundation in his family name, Theodore “Ted” Catino is a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year whose latest venture is GigSmart, a mobile application that helps employers and employees navigate the ever-expanding gig economy. Outside of his business ventures, Ted Catino is a fan of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Cincinnati Reds.

Since 2003, the Reds have played its home games at the Great American Ball Park, a 42,271-seat stadium which covers 2.9 acres. Constructed by HOK Sport for approximately $280 million, Great American Ball Park replaced Riverfront Stadium, which the team played out of for the previous 33 years. Utilizing aspects of old and newer ballparks, it’s a beautiful backdrop to watch a game with an enhanced fan experience that includes the 7,500-square-foot Cincinnati Bell Riverboat Deck in center field and the FOX Sports Ohio Champions Club. In the concourse, the ball park has 28 concession stands and 35 restrooms.

The Reds played its first playoff games at Great American Ball Park in 2010, when the team won its first National League Central Division title since 1995. In 2015, the ballpark was the site of the MLB All-Star Game.
