E-commerce is like our localised unicorn bubble, it’s bound to burst some day. E-commerce, just as you rightly put it, provides the illusion of quick traction but it doesn’t necessarily solve problems. But how many VC’s are looking to solve problems? Most are just looking for easy validations to justify investment.
To be exact though, I don’t think we really practise e-commerce here, the ubiquitous model here is the marketplace model.
