Writing Practice Day 3: Watching horror movie with friends

After spending many days for projects and tutorials, we finally got free time and we decided to have fun. We planned to eat some nice food and watch movie at cinema. At first, we decided to watch a romance movie, but it turned out that the movie we wanted to watch had already been dropped.

We had to decide which movie we gonna watch. My two friends who love horror movies so much suggested to watch horror one at once. We went to buy tickets but sadly tickets had already been run out. What did we do? Of course, we contacted another cinema and asked whether tickets are still available or not. We got the information we desired.

We went there, bought tickets, ate nice food, and started to watch the movie. I haven’t watched horror movies for too long. I kinda felt excited. The whole theatre was a complete darkness when we first walked into it. It made the fear inside of us to become stronger. We went to our seats and the movie started.

Inside an old church, a nun is praying or speaking …. (I didn’t understand her language.) Things happened and the nun died. A man found out. Later, that man, another nun, and a father came to investigate this matter. This was how the movie started.

As we continued watching the movie, we came across some frightening scenes. We were predicting whether the ghost (huh …??? ) would show up from the back, front, above or below. Since there were many gravestones, I thought the ghost would definitely show up from below. A hanged ghost showed up in front of the man. Yikes!!! We got scared and shouted. Lul

When the ghost shows its shadow, the actors always go after it. I was like “OMG! I admire their courage. Aren’t they scared? Why are they going after that thing? Why can’t they just stay where they are? And more importantly, why do they go alone? Don’t take it off! You don’t know what is it yet why are you so curious now?” huuuuuuuuuuu

Later, as the actors always went after the bait, I felt annoyed and didn’t scare anymore. When something was about to show up, I teased my friend and joked about it. It was quite amusing. Watching horror movie with friends made me feel really great. Even though you aren’t afraid, you can act like you are too scared and then hug them. You can tease and joke them after watching their reactions. Those feelings are so amazing.

I noticed that horror movies are about sounds and directions. We expected something to show up from this direction, but it shows up from that direction. Yes! unexpected and surprised feelings! The movie didn’t show the thing that we should be too afraid of at first. Finally, that thing showed up and is that thing really scary? Nope! Just mind tricks!

Great memories and great experiences, I love it.
