It is never a bother to me to hear of the perspective of any other person, so please don’t think that I don’t want to hear what you have to say. Bigotry in ANY form is a major problem for me. I taught my daughter to use that most forbidden of words as a substitute if she was ever unclear about what she was hearing. If you change “woman” to… “N”…? And you hear bigotry? Or… Lesbian? Or homosexual? Trans?

It really doesn’t matter what word you find most offensive. It works. If you are unclear that you are facing bigotry? You’ll find it… or not.

The bottom line is? If you think you are? You probably are. If you need convincing to find your voice? Here’s a tool you can use to be certain.

If you have read any of my work, then you know that I am also a survivor of multiple SA’s, the child of a woman with Borderline Personality Disorder (BoPD), the mother of an AFAB, “possibly” asexual orientated person, who has recently been struggling with their pronoun “requirements”, she’s been diagnosed with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and the most recent one… BoPD.

Which, of course, is kinda a trigger for her non-BoPD, hyper-sensitive-right-now mother, who is also dealing with several high stressors at the moment. So? Having you jump into a conversation, when you didn’t need to, in full protective mode, with so much courtesy and kindness toward me, a complete stranger..? Touched my heart. It’s something I’ve seen my daughter do too. So? Thank you.

We won’t agree on everything. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to hear what you have to say… Ok? ❤
