Re: (Memo #7) Lesson #6 (Feedback can help you with your comeback!)

Hello, my students!

Today’s lesson will discuss what to do to elevate your readers’ experience.

Now, I am only here for a quick moment.

But I wanted to share something with you that will not only help me to improve but will also help you to grow your community within Medium.

If you feel like your community has hit a plateau, or you don’t know how to move forward as a writer in the community, why not create a costume-made survey that will help you determine:

  1. Your specific audience
  2. Your impact on your community
  3. A possible niche to try
  4. Ways to promote your content
  5. New ways to interact with your current and future followers

Asking your audience for feedback is the way to determine the direction that you could take within your writing profile on Medium.

Once you create your own survey or questionnaire, you can start analyzing the information you received from your community. The data will be key to improving your read time, your topics, your engagement, and your overall profit on Medium. Your specific questions can set you up for endless success.

If you would like, use my survey as a blueprint to help you create questions that will help you to improve your readers’ experience and increase your chances of becoming part of the 6%.

But before you go, do you mind filling out the survey for me — if you follow and have read content on Teri Nickels’ Straight Shot?

Thank you in advance! :)

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,

Teri Nickels

P.S. I used Google Forms to create the survey. Also, this survey will be an ongoing process because, over time, your audience may expect you to pivot in another direction, especially if Medium changes — dramatically.
