In this article, we will explain how you can quickly and easily delegate your $LAT via the ATON Wallet. Using ATON, you can monitor the network, execute transfers or delegate to validators via a friendly and simple interface.

Setp One: Install the ATON wallet
For Android users, we recommend that you open the Platon-Wallet website directly in your mobile browser: https://www.platon.network/en/wallet and select [ Android Download ] or[ Google Play ]to install.
For iOS users, open the AppStore app and search for “ATON Wallet” to find and download ATON.
Due to relevant policy factors, it is normal for some phones to have an application virus risk alert. For the safety of your assets, please make sure to back up all wallet private keys and mnemonics in ATON to prevent accidental uninstallation and deletion of ATON.
Step Two：Create or import an account on ATON Wallet
Open the ATON wallet and for the first time you will need to create or import a PlatON wallet.
If you already have a PlatON wallet, you can also import it or just use ATON to watch your wallet. In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a wallet.
Select [PlatON MainNetwork], then click [Create Wallet] and enter the wallet name and wallet password on the wallet create page.
ATON supports two types of wallets, regular wallets and HD wallets (one mnemonic is supported to manage 10 wallets).
When you create the wallet, make sure to register your mnemonic correctly and in a safe way(must be recorded in order). Please don’t share these words with no one, if someone is asking you for this information it is most likely a scammer!
It is very important to keep the mnemonic, i.e. seed phrase, in a safe place, as you will need it to recover your wallet if something happens.
With this done, you will now be able to access your wallet!
Step Three：Deposit your $LAT to this wallet
If you do not have LAT in your wallet, you can transfer it from another wallet, participate in PlatON ecosystem contributions for rewards, or purchase it from an exchange.
On the “Wallet” page, click on [LAT] to enter the LAT details page, then click on [Receive] to display your wallet address and QR code. Fund your account by sending the required $LAT amount to your wallet address.
Step Four：Stake your $LAT to a validator
Open the ATON wallet and follow these steps to complete the delegate process.
- Click on the wallet “Delegate” at the bottom of the screen and switch to the “Validators” list tab.
- Find the “Terminet” validator in the list of validators and click on the name of the validator to enter the Validator details.
- In the validator details click on “Delegate” to enter the delegate operation page.
- Enter the amount you wish to delegate, enter your wallet password in the password confirmation pop-up box and submit.
