Why I’m done making wireframes!

I never did wireframes. I do „roadbooks“. They show the actual design, the actual interactions (verbally and with a storybook like approach). Nearly nothing is undetermined. And yet. Lots of developers I’m working with aren’t understanding the benefit of „drawing by numbers“. In fact they don’t even read the treatments. Sometimes I’m doing mockups with hype (for smartphone apps) to show both, clients and developers how the interactions are meant. So yes, you’re right. Wireframes are a waste of time.
