This article resonated so much with me Daniel. My heart goes out to you and your wife. I am a member of the Mormon church and there are so many similarities — not necessarily in the doctrine, of course, but in the approach and the doubling-down by the organization and the sometimes emotional if not physical shaming/shunning.
