Broken Crayons

People can be, and sometimes are, more difficult to work with than machines. However, be mindful, most often when machines break, they can be fixed. People, on the other hand, can’t always be repaired. If you don’t believe me; have a look around.

There are so many ‘broken’ people in this world. I love the saying, “We are all a little broken, but the last time I checked; broken crayons still color.” In fact, if you’ve been on this planet for any length of time, most likely, you’ll no longer resemble that brand new, just out of the box, look of an ‘unused’ crayon. You’re going to have some worn edges and rumpled wrapping. And that’s okay. Let’s all help one another pick up the broken pieces and create a beautiful masterpiece that we can all enjoy. Until then…

Speak kindly.
Treat respectfully.
Love unconditionally.
