How To Help A Busy, Overwhelmed Author/Speaker!
Last month marked the BizEase team’s five-year anniversary of working with a wonderful client by the name of Stephanie.
Stephanie came to us as do so many of our clients; a very busy and overwhelmed author/speaker who needed help managing her membership site, and a few main website things that were impacted by her membership site. As it always happens when we start working with new clients, I looked at who on the team was skilled in the areas needed, and who had the availability to help. Introductions were made, tasks were set, team members were briefed, and work began. Since membership site support isn’t always consistent when it comes to how much time is needed, so we started working with Stephanie on an as needed basis.
Within a year of working with Stephanie, she launched an online course — which meant our team was involved in helping her update her shopping cart, creating sales pages, and managing subscriptions. And as time has passed, the services we provide and the tasks we perform have increased.
We continue to help Stephanie keep her website and membership site up-to-date and have recently started working on a website refresh to modernize her brand. We also provide an element of customer service, too, working with members who have any issues or concerns.
Recently, Stephanie has decided to launch a larger store on her website, so our team has been involved in this new endeavor, as well.
After making the decision to delegate just a few hours per month for us to handle her membership site, we have taken on more and more of Stephanie’s website, eCommerce, and customer service needs. And now, if she needs any help with her website, membership site, her shopping cart, or plugins, we’re here, ready and waiting. It just makes sense for her to delegate them to us since we’ve been working with her for five years, and have an excellent understanding of her business.
It is so rewarding to sit back and see clients like Stephanie enjoy the type of success that comes along with delegating tasks to our team. It all started with her need to delegate one area of her business — her membership site. Now, we are handling more and more for her, so she doesn’t have to waste time dealing with issues, because we’re handling them for her.
