Stop Chasing Happiness and Realize You Already Have It
Benjamin Foley

What I see is that we set out into life striving and acquiring things. We strive to find our life’s purpose and build a career, strive to find a life partner, a place to live, furniture to put in it, and children to pitter patter through it.

Maybe we get stuck in a striving, acquiring mindset and don’t notice the point where we have a great life and more isn’t going to make it any better than it is right now.

I will tuck this fisherman story into my psyche. I also love the analogy that life is a dance, not a destination. Happiness comes from sucking all the juice out of life, not dying with a lot of toys.
