Great article, Jordan! I like to see the influence that dancing had in the beginnings in hip hop, especially the way Herc tailored his music to dance. It’s also crazy to see in your chart how hip hop was close to nothing less than 40 years ago and grew to such a booming business so much faster than any other genre. If only we could have experienced it all from the beginning.
