Does social media change lives

Today in class we watched 2 videos about police brutality on basically African american people. The first video was about a black police officer saying that police officers need to change their ways. The second video was about how a person had complained that the children playing basketball were too loud. If you ask me in this case yes I do think social media changes lives. I say this because people cyberbully other kids online because of their insecurities and then the kid thats getting bullied commits suicide. Then in other cases people on social media be thinking they hard because they behind a computer screen and they can run their mouth. Well they are not.
