You’re not afraid of dying. You’re afraid of not living.
Of Fears and Men
Diego Giraldo

Aren’t we all? Well, at least most of us. The sudden realization that we are something more than what we allowed ourselves to be is an epiphany like no other. The sad thing is, like most epiphanies, it lasts only for a second, and then puufff — it disappears. We forget about it and remember our daily lives; our boss at work; our wife at home; our children, our friends, our commute to work — you name it. And our realized self goes again into this undeserving slumber. We take pills, and drink alcohol and indulge ourselves with sugar, fat, and meaningless sex. Just because we are afraid that if we decide to live we might actually lose all the things that make us afraid of dying.
