The Tu-95MS. An airplane of the Russian Air Force, that is “able” to reach as far as the United States without needing of refueling.

Finland has reported very little Russian aerial movement throughout years. However, as of recently a Russian bomber, violated the Finnish airspace, for several minutes before returning back to its base. Russian warplanes have been conducting exercises around the Baltics, explains the Institute for The Study of War (ISW).

The organization, in reference to the issue said the following:

Tu-95MS missile carriers and Tu-22M3 bombers conducted flights over neutral waters of the Baltic, Barents, and Norwegian seas

The Baltic airspace has not reported any unusual movement in its airspace, only Finland has recorded such case. Part of it is because Russia does not want to risk provoking the Baltics in any way, as these nations are already working hard on defenses. I shared recently that Estonia is building 600 bunkers, as of right now. The last thing that Russia wants is a permanent stationed air defense systems from the Western Europe in the region. Currently, they are rotational.
