Great article. Have you ever looked into alternate sources of protein? Insect farming has become popular in the news but suffers the problem of adoption by the widescale population. That’s why I think spirulina is a better option. It’s easy to grow, absorbs tons of CO2, and is delicious/nutritious when fresh. My company, Spira grows spirulina living beverages to solve the issues of malnutrition and climate change. I’d love to talk about potential collaboration with the Sierra Club on a new protein source for humanity. We’re beginning a trial study on mother and infant nutrition with spirulina in Ethiopia in September and are looking for collaborators and advisers. You can reach me at e@drinkspira.com. Send me a quick email and let’s work on solving these global problems.
