You lost me.

I think this is a facet, but not an infinitive. I’m not a fan of selfies, but as a human being who had to develop skills and practice crafts in order to express myself and claw my way into relevance (if even to myself) I find it intellectually lazy to say that the selfie is the only way or even the easiest way to do this, and certainly not everyone who hates selfies is going to be threatened by them. There are a lot of ways to make oneself visible and the selfie isn’t even a conscientious one.
